1. Service Description

Editorial Check is an AI-powered editorial platform that provides tools for article generation, SEO keyword research, SEO optimization, benchmark analysis against top-performing industry content, fact-checking, plagiarism detection, AI content detection and humanization, AI citation auditing, editorial scoring, social media snippet generation (Twitter threads, LinkedIn posts, email newsletters, Instagram captions), content calendar scheduling, analytics dashboard, professional PDF export with custom branding, and multi-format content export. The Article Generator supports 12 topic categories (including Lifestyle and Culinary), 12 article types (including News Articles, Reports, Editorials, Op-Eds, Interviews, Columns, Reviews, Profiles, Analysis, Feature Articles, Press Releases, and Food Recipes), 12 editorial tones, and 10 writing styles across 7 global regions and 12 output languages. The platform is intended for professional and personal editorial use.

AI-Assisted Drafts Only: All content generated by Editorial Check — including articles — is an AI-assisted draft. It is explicitly not a final publication. Every generated article is labeled as requiring human editorial review and fact-checking before publication. The platform enforces strict anti-hallucination and journalistic integrity standards in its AI prompts; however, AI outputs may still contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and must always be reviewed by a qualified human editor.

Editorial Notes: Every generated article automatically includes a mandatory "Editorial Notes" section listing facts requiring verification, recommended sources, missing information, and potential legal sensitivities — to support responsible editorial review.

Multilingual Support: Editorial Check supports article generation in multiple languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Arabic, Japanese, and Chinese. Content is generated in the selected language; accuracy may vary across languages.

Export features allow you to download articles, reports, and analyses in PDF, DOCX (Word), and Markdown formats for offline sharing, storage, and further editing.

Data Isolation: All user content is protected by strict database-level row-level security (RLS). Each user can only access, modify, and delete their own articles and reports. No cross-user data access is technically possible within the platform.

Scheduling Notice: Content Calendar scheduling allows you to set a publish date for a draft article. A daily automated process publishes scheduled articles once their publish date arrives; publication timing is not guaranteed to be exact. You are solely responsible for ensuring an article's editorial, legal, and compliance readiness before its scheduled publish date, and for rescheduling or clearing the publish date if it is not ready to go live.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Editorial Check. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the authority to enter into these Terms.

3. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Editorial Check provides AI-assisted tools for editorial support. We do not guarantee any specific results, including but not limited to search engine rankings, publication success, accuracy of AI-generated content, or editorial performance outcomes.

All generated content must be reviewed by a qualified human editor before publication. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and suitability of the final content you publish. AI-generated output may contain inaccuracies, hallucinations, errors, outdated information, or unverified claims despite the platform's best-effort anti-hallucination measures.

No Defamation or Legal Liability: Editorial Check prohibits the AI from making defamatory statements, publishing personal data, or presenting unverified allegations as facts. Nevertheless, users remain solely responsible for reviewing all content for legal compliance — including defamation, privacy, and copyright law — before publishing.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Available Plans: Editorial Check offers a free tier (1 article) and three paid subscription plans: Starter ($19/month · 25 articles), Standard ($29/month · 50 articles), and Pro ($59/month · 100 articles). All paid plans include SEO Optimizer, Benchmark Analysis, and Content Calendar & Scheduling. Standard and Pro plans additionally include Social & Newsletter Snippets and the Analytics Dashboard. Plan limits reset monthly.

Billing Currency: All subscriptions are billed in USD (US Dollars).

Payment Processor: Payments are securely processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Credit card data is never stored on Editorial Check servers.

Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged at the then-current subscription rate. You have the right to cancel at any time.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@laenethylabs.com. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused periods.

Refund Policy: Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@laenethylabs.com within 7 days of a charge. We reserve the right to approve or deny refund requests at our sole discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Editorial Check for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems.
• Generate, distribute, or publish defamatory, harassing, or malicious content.
• Publish AI-generated content without performing a human editorial review.
• Present AI-generated content as independently researched or verified journalism without disclosing AI involvement.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Circumvent usage limits, security mechanisms, or access controls.
• Use the platform to infringe upon third-party intellectual property rights.
• Use the platform to create content that violates GDPR or other applicable privacy laws, including publishing personal data about individuals without a legal basis.
• Publish AI-generated content without complying with applicable AI transparency requirements, including the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) Article 50 obligation to disclose AI-generated text intended for public distribution, where applicable in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content: All content you generate, upload, or submit to Editorial Check remains your sole intellectual property. You retain all rights, title, and interest in your content.

You grant Editorial Check only the minimal license necessary to:

• Store and process your content in order to provide analysis results.
• Retain your generated articles and exported documents for your account.
• Display your content within your account dashboard.

Analysis Inputs (Transient): Text submitted for analysis (AI detection, fact-checking, plagiarism) is processed transiently and discarded immediately after the result is returned. This text is never stored persistently, never shared with third parties, and never used for AI training.

Editorial Check IP: The Editorial Check platform, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Harbinger Bros. LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from our platform without written permission.

7. Data Privacy

Your use of Editorial Check is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We are committed to data minimization and strict data isolation. Text you submit for analysis is never permanently stored, never shared, and never used to train AI models. All stored articles and reports are protected by database-level row-level security — only the account owner can access their own data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Harbinger Bros. LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of Editorial Check.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Editorial Check is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate or complete.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Consumer Rights: If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or any other jurisdiction, your mandatory consumer protection rights under your local laws are expressly preserved and shall not be limited or waived by these Terms. These include, where applicable, your rights under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, or the Australian Privacy Act.

11. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting support@laenethylabs.com.

If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in Sheridan, Wyoming, USA, in the English language.

You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits against Harbinger Bros. LLC to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this section limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Editorial Check after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notification with at least 14 days' notice.
